An unpublished PvP map for the canceled Disintegration DLC.
Disintegration DLC1 PvP Map. This was mostly an exercise in layout and composition as no new assets were created for the map. The layout is based on the Control gameplay mode with a 3 by 3 array of combat pockets connected with tight bottleneck pass-throughs. One of the challenges with this more natural palette was how to define the pockets and create dense enough sightline blockers with trees and rocks as to not make you feel like you should be able to fire through them. Destruction of the Barn walls creates new player-created combat pocket connections which adds to the sense of player discoverability and ownership of the new route.
